The Chilean Riesling-Semillon is pale straw in colour, this wine is a balanced blend of floral and citrus aromas and flavours.  Lemon and peach flavours are followed by a crisp, slightly sweet finish.  Will accent any meals with smoked salmon, fried calamari, BBQ or spicy chicken wings, pork ribs or roast, chicken, and some soft, lighter cheeses such as mozzarella, brie, and camembert.

Oops – please excuse the delay!  We’ve been so busy with all of our new stock – from our Wicked hard pink lemonade to the new Just Us! offerings – that we completely dropped the ball and forgot to announce the Wines of the Month for June!  Without further adieu, here are the two varietals we’re showcasing this month:

June Wines of the MonthUntil June 30th, 2011, enjoy 10% off our Traditional and Ultimate Sauvignon Blanc (white) and Cabernet Merlot (red) wine kits.

The Californian Sauvignon Blanc featutres a very pale grassy yellow tone with bright pea pod and characteristic lemon-grass aroma. It is full-bodied. and very dry, but can be made sweeter according to your preference.

The Chilean Cabernet Merlot features flavours of dark plump berries and vibrant black currant mingled with chewy, plumy Merlot characteristics.  It is rich and balanced with a mild peppercorn finish.
